A stately instrument worthy of its name and our largest rain gauge, the solid brass Estate Rain Gauge measures up to 12 inches of rain in 1/10 inch increments. The large rain gauge has adjustable brackets and all the hardware needed for mounting on a variety of post or fence applications.
The estate rain gauge has a stainless steel insert that is highly visible with bold black numerals that will last forever. The solid brass drain valve at the bottom of the large rain gauge makes emptying easy, and the collection funnel features a brass screen to keep out unwanted leaves and bugs.
The exclusive design of the estate rain gauge uses the convex shape of the glass when filled with water to magnify the numerals by 50%. Dimensions: 2-1/2" diameter, 26" tall.
Guaranteed for life. However, the glass vials are breakable and therefore not covered by the warranty. Replacement vials are available from the manufacturer. We recommend bringing your rain gauge inside before air temperatures reach the freezing point. This will keep it safely free of ice, which can expand and break the vial.
